After serving his medical internship, Dr. Niksarli was invited to join the eye surgery residency program at Lenox Hill Hospital, where he excelled in his field and was appointed Chief Resident. He then went on to receive further training at the renowned Harvard University, after which he continued with fellowship training at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and Cornell University/New York Hospital Medical Center. As a nationally recognized authority on vision correction surgery, Dr. Niksarli currently serves as Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at several New York City medical institutions, including Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital and New York University Medical Center. Dr. Niksarli is certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Ophthalmology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Niksarli is on staff at the prestigious Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, where he also underwent a medical residency and fellowship program during the early years of his ophthalmology training.
