He then went on to receive further course in Ophthalmology at Harvard University. Subsequently he continued with his fellowship training jointly at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital and Cornell University/New York Hospital Medical Center. As a nationally recognized authority on LASIK vision correction surgery, Dr. Niksarli currently serves as Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at several New York City medical institutions, including Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital, Lenox Hill Hospital and New York University Medical Center. He is highly regarded for his success as the founder and medical director of Manhattan Lasik Center, a leading-edge vision correction practice that has been providing outstanding patient care for some 15 years.

Dr. Niksarli is certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is a Diplomate of both the National Board of Ophthalmology and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
