The EVO ICLTM (Implantable Collamer Lens) is a revolutionary technology for patients who want to get rid of the hassles of contacts and glasses. It can also be a good option for patients who are not laser vision correction candidates.
This very thin, soft, flexible lens made of Collamer (an advanced lens material that is highly biocompatible) is placed behind the iris of the eye and works with the eye’s natural lens to correct a range of vision problems.

"EVO ICL lens has helped me live life to the fullest with no more hesitation. I simply wake up and go about my day."
- Joe Jonas
The EVO ICL™ is best for patients who have myopia with or without astigmatism. The procedure can be performed on an outpatient basis and can provide patients with improved vision immediately after the procedure. Your doctor will make a small opening in the cornea and insert the foldable lens between the iris and the eye's natural lens. The procedure will take about 20 to 30 minutes per eye, and will only require topical anesthesia. The EVO ICL™ will stay in place after the procedure and will be completely unnoticeable. It can even be removed by a doctor, for added peace of mind.
From hitting the gym to hitting the waves, EVO ICL means you're always ready to live life to the fullest.

The EVO ICL Lens is intended for the correction of moderate to high nearsightedness. EVO ICL and EVO TICL surgery is intended to safely and effectively correct nearsightedness between -3.0 D to -15.0 D, the reduction in nearsightedness up to -20.0 D and treatment of astigmatism from 1.0 D to 4.0 D. If you have nearsightedness within these ranges, EVO ICL surgery may improve your distance vision without eyeglasses or contact lenses. Because the EVO ICL corrects for distance vision, it does not eliminate the need for reading glasses, you may require them at some point, even if you have never worn them before.
Implantation of the EVO ICL is a surgical procedure, and as such, carries potentially serious risks. Please discuss the risks with your eye care professional. Complications, although rare, may include need for additional surgical procedures, inflammation, loss of cells from the back surface of the cornea, increase in eye pressure, and cataracts.
You should NOT have EVO ICL surgery if:
