Your Laser Eye Surgery Consultation

What To Expect During The Consultation?

The first step in the consultation is a complimentary phone consultation. During the phone consultation, one of our experienced consultants will evaluate the patient’s medical history and will inquire about the patient’s prescription level, age, and other factors that determine laser vision correction candidacy. Once the consultant deems the patient a potential candidate, the patient will be scheduled for a complimentary in-person Comprehensive Vision Assessment.

The vision assessment will be conducted by our experienced surgeons, and will include the following:

1. Refraction to determine the prescription/amount of correction needed
2. Corneal Topography to map the surface of the cornea
3. Ultrasound Pachymetry to determine the corneal thickness
4. Full Dilated exam to determine the overall health of the eyes
5. Review of the various procedures we offer
6. Discussion of the risks & benefits of laser vision correction
7. Questions & Answers session

Following a full eye examination, including measuring corneal thickness, refraction, corneal mapping, eye pressure, and pupil dilation, the surgeon will discuss what to expect during and after the procedure.

No matter what happens afterward, if it turns out you’re not a candidate or you just decide it’s not for you, you’ll walk away with useful insights about your eyes.
